Since January the 8th, Shom's School has welcomed a new class to its benches. During 9 months, 7 students from a wide range of backgrounds will be preparing to become category 2 cartographic technicians.
eMSP-NBSR project - emerging maritime spatial planning in the North and Baltic sea regions - started in 2021. It brings together 15 European stakeholders from 9 different countries to address maritime spatial planning issues in the North and Baltic Sea.
The CISE-ALERT project started in November 2022 and brings together 13 maritime surveillance stakeholders from 8 Member States. The aim is for them to share information and data in order to support their missions at sea.
Without sensors calibrated according to stable references, it is impossible for the scientific community to use their results.
« Where Ocean Leaders Meet » … Every year, at the instigation of the European Commission, the European maritime community comes together for the European Maritime Days (EMD). This year, Brest is the host city. One more reason - if one were needed - to meet us there !
